Learn how to connect your email account to Subres for automatic subscription detection.

Supported Email Providers

Subres supports the following email providers:

Connecting Gmail or Outlook

  • Navigate to Settings → Email Connections
  • Click Add Email Account
  • Select your provider (Google or Microsoft)
  • Sign in with your credentials
  • Grant the required permissions
  • Security & Permissions

    We request the minimum permissions needed:

  • Read email messages - To find subscription receipts
  • Read email metadata - To identify billing notifications
  • We never:

  • Send emails on your behalf
  • Access attachments
  • Store full email content
  • Troubleshooting

    Connection Failed

    If your connection fails, try:
  • Clearing your browser cache
  • Using an incognito/private window
  • Checking if your email provider has any security blocks
  • Missing Subscriptions

    If some subscriptions aren't detected:
  • Ensure the confirmation email is in your inbox (not spam)
  • Wait 24 hours for a full rescan
  • Manually add the subscription if needed
